Where To Live
Craven county An activity-filled suburban area, Craven County offers you the best of all worlds: breath-taking natural beauty offering numerous outdoor opportunities, the small town pace of life in a historic setting, and cultural and shopping venues equal to an urban center. But Craven County’s most treasured assets are the friendly people that inhabit it. Eight area townships provide you a wide array of facilities and attractions. Some of our nation’s oldest and most historic buildings, like the Tryon Palace, lie nestled in the county seat, New Bern.
